Streamlined design set to tackle rising construction demand
Fall Fair mud room post..
The great thing about this basic soup is that, since it’s pureed, you can even add in all kinds of other veggies while it’s cooking and no one has any idea!Broccoli and cauliflower are my favorites so far.. Well, now that this recipe is dusted off for the season, I think it will be making a lot of appearances around here as the weather gets chillier.
I hope you’ll try it out too!Can you believe it’s October already? We’ve got our Halloween countdown calendar all filled up with candies and the official countdown to the big day has begun!.To celebrate, I’m joining forces with a few other talented bloggers this week.
We’ll be sharing some fun Halloween ideas to get us all in the mood to make this Halloween absolutely spooktacular!.I created this fun giant vase/container/hurricane/whatever you want to call it as my contribution.. I’ve been on a mission to use up all of the plain glass containers that I’ve been keeping in my back hall “just in case” and I thought this might be the perfect chance.. I’ve had this big plain glass thing for awhile.
I always thought it seemed so versatile and I could use it in so many different applications.
The problem is that I didn’t use it.I’m pretty sure that, in this town, they’ve not yet clued into all the amazing stuff we’re finding in their stores because the prices were dirt cheap compared to what I’m used to in the city..
The top of one of those brass clocks everyone used to have, used as a makeshift cloche here: $1.99.Cake stand (oops, water spots!)
and glass dome: $4 and $2.. Blue willow plates 69 cents each.. Blue and white bowls: 99 cents each.. Not too bad for one quick little trip.. Yeah, so maybe I’m not just like all the people in the thrift stores I see around here. And maybe I’m not doing what all the “normal” people are doing all the time.
