The case for honest timber

As luck would have it, I was that person and I managed to burn my finger on a hot cookie sheet just a few days ago.

He’s doing great, very strong and healthy, although he’s keeping me up all night every night feeding.I don’t think I’ve slept more than 2 hours for the last five nights!

It’s all worth it though to have a healthy, thriving baby.In fact, just yesterday we went to see the doctor and he’s already gained 2 oz over his birth weight!Babies lose weight after birth and you usually want them back up to birth weight by 2 weeks old, so his weight gain is a big deal!.

OK, enough baby talk for today.🙂 Onto the DIY of the day.

Of course it’s still Jack-related!.

Today we’re going to talk curtains.Chris set up all his stuff on the area of the driveway that used to be covered in mulch and extra topsoil for about the last three years.

We finally got that area cleaned up a few weeks ago so now I guess we have a new outdoor work space!.Getting all your tools out and set up before you start a project makes everything go a lot smoother.

For Chris this meant a pretentious local craft beer too, of course. Also a nail gun, air compressor, jigsaw, router, three saw horses, glue, a mitre saw, and a table saw..
